In November of 2018, the Woolsey fire burned through Malibu.

This firestorm destroyed more than 80% of the wildlife habitat of the Santa Monica Mountains and claimed three lives. It forced the evacuation of almost 300,000 people and destroyed over 1600 structures.

Eric Myer, a professional photographer and Malibu resident, was allowed into the lives of 42 Malibu homeowners during a very difficult time to capture the aftermath of the devastation before their properties were cleared of debris.
